Mahabaleshwar is one of the famous tourist places in Maharashtra. It is located in Western ghats.

The place is known for its greenery and natural environment. Spread over 100 km and with average elevation above 1000m Mahabaleshwar is a famous tourist destination. It is also a famous tourist destination.

Mahabaleshwar is accessible by road. Various hotels ranging from basic to expensive are available.

There are many beautiful scenarios to see in Mahabaleshwar. Here is the list of some of the places to visit in Mahabaleshwar.

·        Pratapgad – Pratapgad is a fort located close which is located close to Mahabaleshwar is of historic significance.
·        Monkey Point - Monkey Point is a natural rock which has similar resemblance to the three wise monkeys of Gandhiji.
·        Elephant Point - Elephant Point is a hill which has a unique shape which looks like an Elephant’s face.
·        Krishnabai Temple - Krishnabai Temple is a temple in which river Krishna which is one of the biggest river in Maharashtra is worshipped.
·        Wilson Point – Wilson Point is the tallest point located in Mahabaleshwar from which sunrise and sunset are visible.
·        Kate Point – Kate Point is a point from which Balakwadi dam is visible.
·        Apart from the points mentioned above there are many other points to see in Mahabaleshwar.

Apart from beautiful sceneries other activities can also be done like paragliding facility is also available in the nearby area. Natural syrups of various fruits are also available in Mahabaleshwar there is also a small strawberry field located in this place. Other activities which can be done are horse riding horses are available on rent for specific distances. Boat riding facility is available at Lake Venna.

Bora Bora Island is the part of French Polynesia located in the Pacific Ocean it belongs to France.

The island has a lagoon and two mountains which are extinct volcanoes.
The island is a famous tourist destination. The island’s main source of income is through tourism. The island has many resorts and bungalows above water. There are various options available in choosing resorts from average to expensive resorts.

There are few flights per day available for Bora Bora Island from Airport in Airr Tahiti.
There are no means of public transport present on this island for tourists. However tourist can rent bicycles, cars and even motorboats are available.


Snorkeling is done in the nearby coral reef as in the island lagoon. The other facilities like scuba diving are also available.

There are many new plans and under construction buildings which may surpass the buildings in this list. However this list is based on the present top 10 tallest building in the world. This list has excluded the buildings which are under construction or purposed tall buildings are included in this list.

10.  Willis Tower, Chicago, USA

The Willis tower is 442 m tall and it has 108 floors its construction began in 1970 and it was completed in 1973.

9. Zifeng Tower, Nanjin, China

Zifeng Tower is 450 m tall and it has 66 floors its construction began in 2005 and it was completed in 2010.

8. Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Petronas Towers are 451 m tall and both the towers have 88 floors. The construction of these towers began in 1992 and was completed in 1997.

7. The international Commerce Center, Hong Kong

This building is 484 m tall and 108 storey tall its construction was started in 2002 and completed in 2010.

6. The Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai, China

The Shanghai World Financial Center is 492 m tall. It has 101 floors its construction began in 1997 and it was completed in 2008.

Taipei 101 is 508 m tall it is also has 101 floors. Its construction began in 1999 and was completed in 2004.

 One World Trade Center is 541 m tall and it has 94 floors. Its construction started in 2006 and it was completed in 2013.

The Makkah Royal Clock Tower is 601 m tall and is has 120 floors. Its construction started in 2004 and it was completed in 2012.

Burj Khalifa is the current tallest building in the World. It is 828 m tall and it has 154 floors. Its construction started in 2004 and it was completed in 2010.

Maldives is an island country located in the Indian Ocean. The country is known for its beautiful beaches and marine life. The country consists of 192 islands spread over a very large area.

Apart from the beautiful clean beaches there are various marine organisms located in the nearby ocean. There are many species of fishes, crabs, shrimps, turtles in this ocean. The coral reef in Maldives was damaged due to rising temperature. However after efforts from local people and by using synthetic ways the coral is now regenerating.

One other phenomenon is observed in Maldives which is glowing ocean at night due to bioluminescence ability of sea micro organisms.

Maldives is one of the favorite locations for beaches and marine life enthusiast. The main income source for this country is tourism. Various resorts with staying facilities are available in Maldives. Many direct flights are also available from various countries.
Apart from this the country is also planning to become a complete green country by reducing or completely stopping its carbon gases emission.

5. Cave of Crystals

It is a crystal cave which was discovered in 2000 in Chihuahua, Mexico. The cave is full of Selenite crystals. The cave is almost 1000 feet deep and 89 feet in length. However this beautiful looking cave has a relatively harsh environment the temperature in the cave can be up to 58°C and the humidity is this cave can be 99% people without proper protection can die in this harsh environment within few minutes. The scientists who explored this cave wore special suites which helped them to survive for longer duration in that cave.

4. Lake Hillier

Lake Hillier is an unusual lake located in Goldfields Esperance, Western Australia. The color of water in this lake is pink. The lake is a saline lake. The lake is 2000 feet in length and 820 feet in width. The lake has high level of salt but it is still safe to swim in the lake. The lake also contains a micro organism which produces pink dye which is responsible for the pink color of the lake. The lake is located away from the mainland on an island the best way to access this island is by air.

3. Door to Hell

Door to Hell is a crater located in Derweze, Turkmenistan. It was discovered in 1971. Natural gas Methane was discovered which top layer of land fell in the crater. To prevent spreading of this gas geologist decided to burn the gas. Geologists predicted that the gas would burn off in few weeks however the crater is still burning till today. The crater has been a famous tourist spot in Turkmenistan. There are tents available little bit away from the crater for tourists to stay.

2. Turquoise Ice Lake Baikal

Lake Baikal is the biggest fresh water lake in the world it is located in Siberia, Russia. The lake also has one of the largest fresh water reserves in the world. The lake has crystal clear water. In winter when the lake freezes the large blocks of clear ice moves towards the surface of the lake. The ice blocks are transparent and seen from distance shown Turquoise color. These ice blocks are famous tourist attractions in chilling winter period in Siberia.

Salar de Uyuni is located in Bolivia. It has the largest reserves of lithium. It covered with salt it is located at a high altitude in Bolivia. This area receives rainfall which makes some parts of the salt plane full of swallow water which reflects the sky beautifully. The place is also home to few species of animals. The place is a famous tourist destination. There are few hotels in the nearby areas which are made up of salt blocks.
