Sunny Leone was born on May 13^th 1981 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. She was born into Indian family of Sikh origin. She is Punjabi. Her real name is Karenjit Kaur Vohra.

From her teen age she was involved in sports. She studied at a Catholic school. She moved to USA at the age of 15 when her family got their green card. Later her family settled in Orange County, California. At the age of 16 still in school she lost her virginity to a basketball player.

Before getting into the adult industry she did job at Bakery and a tax and retirement company. When she was studying in college one of her friend who was a dancer helped her to get in contact with an agent who introduced her to a penthouse photographer. She later did work in many adult movies.

She also acted in some Hollywood and Bollywood movies. She got her breakthrough in Bollywood from the famous Indian reality show Bigg Boss Season 5.

Sunny Leone is an animal lover she have worked with PETA for the cause of proper treatment of animals. She also participated in Los Angeles marathon to get donation for American Cancer Society.

She is religious and believes in God. She believes God has always been with her. She also has future plans of starting a family.

She has currently retired from adult industry and she is now focusing on her career as a Bollywood actress.
